Laid over a sound base at the right depth, a resin driveway is exceptionally durable. It can withstand daily use from cars and foot traffic for over 15+ years before a replacement is required.
We offer a wide range of resin-bound colours and styles, allowing you to customise your driveway’s look in alignment with your property’s aesthetic. Warmer blends tend to sit better against ragstone and older brick, while cooler greys suit newer builds and rendered frontages.
A brush-over and an occasional wash are usually enough. Additionally, Weeds cannot push up through a properly built resin-bound driveway, minimising maintenance compared to other driveway types such as block-paved.

The seamless finish makes life easier for pushchairs, wheelchairs and wheelie bins. There are no raised edges or sunken blocks to catch a toe.

Yes. We arrange and handle all waste removal ourselves as standard, including any old driveway material we take up, so you don’t need to organise a skip or grab lorry yourself. This is included and itemised clearly in your quote.
You pay for the install upon completion of the work when you’re satisfied with the outcome.

Yes. Resin-bound surfacing allows rainwater to drain through the surface into the ground below, rather than pooling on the surface or running off into the road. This makes it a SUDS-compliant, permeable choice, which is a real advantage for properties dealing with surface water or drainage issues.
The upfront cost of resin bound can be higher than block paving, but pays off in the long run as there is no re-sanding, no loose stones to top up, and far less ongoing maintenance.
In many cases, yes. Provided the existing surface is structurally sound, free of significant cracking, and draining properly. If it isn’t, laying resin straight over it risks the same cracks reappearing at the surface later. We’ll assess your existing driveway honestly at your free survey and recommend the right approach, even if that means a full dig-out and rebuild.
No more than any other hard surface. A correctly installed resin-bound driveway has a textured, slightly gritty finish that provides good underfoot grip in wet weather. Like any outdoor surface, it can still ice over in freezing temperatures, so normal winter care applies.
This almost always comes down to sub-base preparation, not the resin itself. Cutting corners on excavation, compaction, or drainage underneath is typically the underlying cause of cracking, dips, and rippling later on. In most cases, no. Because resin-bound is a permeable surface that lets water drain through rather than run off, it generally falls outside the planning rules that apply to non-permeable driveways of a certain size. Your local authority can confirm the specifics for your property, and we’re happy to talk you through it.
